Facts: Family: Gnaphosidae Scientific name: Micaria pulicaria Common name: Glossy ant-spider The Ground spider Micaria pulicaria, about 3-4 mm long. It is very hard to take photos of this spider using a flash. The iridescent hairs reflects the light like metal. Therefore it is hard to see all the natural white spots, especially on the back of the abdomen.
